Upcoming conferences I’ll be at in 2016

Do you have any financial planning or investment advising questions bugging you? I’ve got two different conferences coming up and want to make sure I use that time wisely by paying attention to what my people want me to learn.

Related to this, heads up that I’m going to be out of town. The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors conference is in Phoenix May 17th through May 20th. NAPFA is the association of fee-only fiduciary planners and this national conference is one of the best in the world. At one of their past events I’ve had the good fortune to meet and speak with Jack Bogle! I am really excited to be going again this year.

September 27 -28 will be in the last step to become authorized to use Dimensional Funds as a fee-only fiduciary advisor. I am going to Charlotte for their training program.

November 2-5 I’ll be in Denver for training with the Alliance of Comprehensive Planners. This is my community of tax-focused financial planners that operate under the retainer model and I’ll be getting more in-depth training on their – our! – proprietary tools. They have a mentoring program to help people like me who are operating a small practice so we don’t have to keep re-inventing the wheel.

Email is still the best way to get me, but if you call the office number (below) you can leave a voicemail that will be forwarded to me where-ever I am. I have very sporadic office help right now, but I’m also offering scheduling on my website.
